For people who awaits for JPA sponsorship program, the government has announced its opening of JPA Scholarship 2008, encompassing both the local and oversea studies. JPA has also reminded those who wish to pursue their studies with the JPA Scholarship must not only excel in academic, but active in extra curricular activities and possess strong leadership skill.
For 1st year 1st semester student who do not complete their 1st year in degree, they can use their previous matriculation result at must obtain at least a 3.3 pointer, or using their diploma, alpha, foundation or pre-university result at must obtain at last 3.5. In addition, for student who wish to apply for the scholarship but they are doing a 2nd, 3rd or even a final year degree and obtain at least 3.3, they are advised to apply.
